This is NOT a perfect solution for a common problem, but having the option may be nice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kon Angelopoulos (angek) Date: 2004-05-10 16:43 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=198398 What would happen in the case that the user connects to the survey via a proxy? the ip that would be captured would be of the proxy and ends up creating problems eg. having blocked access to the survey for all others using the same proxy (eg from the same organisation etc). How about a snippet of code that disbales the submit button once the survey has been submitted. I know this isn't the best solution either as people can click the back button on their browser several times and keep reposting the results however it should suffice for the average user and in fact I have this implemented on my system and have had very few problems with multiple submissions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kon Angelopoulos (angek) Date: 2004-05-10 16:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=198398 What would happen in the case that the user connects to the survey via a proxy? the ip that would be captured would be of the proxy and ends up creating problems eg. having blocked access to the survey for all others using the same proxy (eg from the same organisation etc). It could have been related to the transition. I unfortunately don't have access to a 4.1 server to test/confirm. With the change in date/time handling changing somewhat with 1.7(adodb instead of native php_mysql), this problem might fix itself, if it exists. On Wed, 2004-05-05 at 20:39, Paul R. Currently when CSV exporting rate questions, an answer from 1->x it will be exported as 0->(x-1), with N/A's represented as -1. Should this remain or be changed? I think it's more logical to export as 1->x with N/A's as 0. -- mcg ------------------------------------- The IT Lab (http://www.itlab.musc.edu) |

I'm not sure if this is just a display problem or not. I have a respondent account set up and I wanted it to expire on April 15 so I set it up and everything worked fine. Today I decided to extend the survey so I went into the manage respondent accounts screen to change the date. The values in the box looked funny. I put in 2004, 5, 1 in the three boxes for May 1, saved the info, and then went back to look at it. The respondent editor screen now has the values 2004 -0 5- in the three boxes. I'm not sure if my settings took and this just a display problem, or if there is something going on in the code (maybe getting the day/months slots out of order). Anyway, thought you should know. In this case it will not be a problem to manually shut down the survey when the time comes. Cheers, --chris ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=108956&aid=930450&group_id=8956 |

What is wrong? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Matthew Gregg (greggmc) Date: 2004-03-23 13:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=14116 Make sure the respondent user is in the same group as the survey.
