I think the style is not applied to the created table for these question types, and because it is a new table it does not inherit from the containing cell. Patches item #1352127, was opened at 2005-11-09 13:01 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=308956&aid=1352127&group_id=8956 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Daniel Buchmann (avalon) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: LDAP authentication improvement Initial Comment: The following is improved by applying this patch: - When authenticating for the first time, certain information is copied from the LDAP server to the SQL db (if the information exists), more specifically the firstname, the lastname, and the email address of the authenticating user. New configuration variables in $ESPCONFIG: ldap_firstname_attribute: the name of the attribute containing the user's firstname ldap_lastname_attribute: the name of the attribute containing the user's lastname ldap_email_attribute: the name of the attribute containing the user's email address If the authenticating user does not have one (or more) of these attributes defined, the corresponding information will not be copied. If there are several values defined for an attribute, only the first value will be copied. - It is now possible to specify whether a default realm should be used or a new realm should be created when a survey designer authenticates for the first time. New optional configuration variable in $ESPCONFIG: ldap_default_realm: the name of the realm new survey designers will become a member of when logging in for the first time. This realm is not automatically created. If this configuration variable is not defined, a new realm will be created for each user that authenticates (previous behaviour). - There was a typo in the $ESPCONFIG variable named "ldap_port". The variable contained trailing whitespace after the port number, causing ldap_connect() failure. This patch removes the trailing whitespace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=308956&aid=1352127&group_id=8956 |

I used phpmyAdmin to set up the keys and passwords and have been able to get the .../admin/test.php to work as well as admin/manage.php. All of this under WIndows2000 When the manage.php screen appears, the login screen accepts the userid and password but doesn't do anything. i have looked at the generated html. it looks as if no action= clause has been generated for the form. I am not an expert on this but have spent plenty of time already and am hoping i can get this up and running soon. there's something about the password i'm sure but it eludes me. thanks in advance. stu ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: stu (stu_3881) Date: 2005-10-23 09:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1363030 thanks for your continued interest. i've downloaded lots of new things recently and am too old to go this "fast". i don't have a problem with phpesp right now, it's just that i am totally unfamiliar with wincvs so i can neither establish a repository on my box or connect to sourceforge. i thought of trying to use view cvs and cut and paste into my source. i started at the bottom and worked up. when i got to the where directory underneath .../admin/include, i decided i better learn a bit more about cvs and see if there's a better way to extract them than one at a time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: stu (stu_3881) Date: 2005-10-22 21:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1363030 getting to cvs has been an exercise... I had to download IE 6 to download and install wincvs. Wincvs requires python but it's install was painless. I can now get wincvs up. As i try to establish a repository in winCVS, i enter the following string: (as suggested by the documentation: :pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/phpesp but i get the following msg: cvs -d :pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/phpesp init Unable to initialize the CVS process: The system cannot find the file specified. The Header Graphic on the Login Form is in a div vs. on a Survey where it is within a table. The end result is that the login form overlaps the graphic if the users css follows the original css style: .headerGraphic { background-repeat: no-repeat; width: 100%; border: none; } .image { height:60; width:100%; } The problem is that the login form uses a div set to the headerGraphic class and does not use the .image class... so you don't get a height for the image. The Survey Header Graphic is within a table and the table class is headerGraphic and the td is .image... which works well with this setup. I fixed it on mine just by copying the table structure from the Survey page over to the Login Form inc file replacing the div. But I guess it might be better to just use a div for both and dump the .image class. Steve |
