The Liyange package installs to /usr/local which is more Unix traditional, whereas this package tries to adopt a more Mac OS X style /Library/PostgreSQL8/ path structure.
You can install this version, and it will install normally, but will not carry over your data folder. I should also mentin that right now, it doesn't play freindly with upgrade installs over itself either :-) .

I've been using Marc's postgres package from:

How does this package compare to that? Can I install this 8.0.2a package over Marc's 8.0.1 package, or will that cause problems?
