I tested this on a file and wasn't able to decrypt the file with this key.
The only message given from GPA was that the decryption failed.
Here is the output from the command line attempt:
[mdw1982@mdw1982 mdw1982]$ gpg --decrypt test-msg
gpg: encrypted with 1024-bit ELG-E key, ID 32EE3483, created 2001-07-23
"Roger Sherman (jersy) <ro...@sl...>"
gpg: decryption failed: secret key not available
gpg: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=29)
Apparently I don't seem to be getting the entire key when I'm importing
from the keyserver "or" from the key.asc file import. Could it be that the
generated key is bad from the start? If so, this is the "third" key-pair
that turned out to be bad.
I think that the problem is probably your secret key is corrupt somehow.
Try "gpg --with-colons --list-secret-keys 32EE3483"
You should post to gnu...@gn..., there might be a bug in GnuPG
that you have come across.
