Good morning,
while booting Peppemint 11 I have tried to install HP Laserjet 107a printer by following this useful guide I have found from Google and that I previously used to set it correctly on Debian 11: https://www.garasiku.my.id/web/joomla/index.php/tips/debian/170-debian-bullseye-configure-hp-laser-107a
Instead, on Peppemint 11, despite following these instructions, the printer doesn't work as it seems as if there were an error, whereas on Debian 11 not. What could be the problem about it?

Good morning Jonathan,
Have you installed the HP printer software, it is not included as part of the standard install, but is available via the repos, see screenshot of the highlighted entry in the Synaptic Package Manager. Plus confirmed this by checking my edition of Xfce Debian Bullseye I have on my main rig.
Thank you so much for your reply. As a matter of fact, yesterday I tried to re-install the printer by following your method and the guide provided as I liked, but it continued not to print because of a communication error, I think! So, I cannot believe that there is a little bug on Peppermint or the printer does not work properly on it differently from Ubuntu and Debian (along with other Debian-based OS like Q4OS or SpiralLinux on which I installed it successfully). Anyway, thank you for your support as well.

do you have the Peppermint repository in your sources.list?
if that's the case we have a new version of hplip.
but if you already have it and the new driver is giving a problem, thank you very much for the feedback and we will try to fix the problem

Try installing the HP driver for Linux offered here: https://www.my-hpdrivers.com/2022/07/hp-laser-107a-driver.html
