Howto change mouse pointer color ( red ) / size / shape

Can any body give me a hint as how to change my mouse pointer color to RED.
Also, but * far less * important, shape and size

Not really a straight forward way......XFCE will tell you fond a good theme other wise you need mod the configs....

Instructions are at the link and It is a white pointer with a red halo. Good contrast for visibility.
