Hi all,
the pencil code command names are quite self explanatory. But a man
page for each command would greatly enhance usability. This should
preferably done by the programmers of each command.
Another issue comes when starting the commands with wrong options,
e.g. "pc_svnup -abc". Instead of just executing it should exit report
an error.
Also should be distinguished between short and long arguments. The
command "pc_svnup" for example has a short option called "-src" which
is not standrad. In fact using "optarg" it shouldn't be even possible.
In order to use long arguments one should use two dashes e.g. "--src"
instead. This is done fairly easy under c.
Do you also see the need to improve these points?

Hi Axel,
do the above mentioned commands have a manpage?
typing "anycommand -h" should always show the help and don't do
anything otherwise. For example "rm -h" will not delete any files. The
distinction between short and long options should also be considered
since it is a universal standard for UNIX commands.
cheers
