PeerGuardian is a great tool if you suspect you have a trojan. It could be even more powerful, however, if it were possible to perform WHOIS or even DNS look-ups from the log and history context menus.
It may not be PG's mission to provide full-blown port sniffer functionality, but it sure would be convenient to avoid piggybacking additional sniffers when PG is installed.
