It would be nice if you release a new version of pdfshuffer. It seams that there are plenty of changes since the 0.5.1. This way all package maintainer of the distros do not need to patch 0.5.1.

For the Fedora packaage are 9 open bugs against the pdfshuffler package. I know that some are pypoppler related but at least the "black square" bug will be fixed.
