#567 What are the "PSS" top, bottom, left and right positions introduced in the pwsafe.cfg file for?

Hi Rony,

I noticed that v3.72.1 introduced the "PSS_" top, bottom, left and right positions as shown below in the pwsafe.cfg file Position section. What are they used for compared to the positions that don't start with "PSS_"?

On two different laptops (one high dpi and one normal HD), with v3.72.1 the app window is starting sized much larger than what I resized it to and often partially off screen.

The PSS coordinates are used to remember the position of the Authentication Code and Partial Password display windows. I'll update the documentation.

Arguably these can be replaced by always placing these windows over the main PasswordSafe window, as is done for other sub-windows. What do you think?

Hi Rony,

I would not have any issues with placing theses particular windows over the main PasswordSafe window. I suspect that many users after selecting to view and successfully use the content in these particular windows, would like I do, as next step, immediately close these windows anyway no matter where they are located.

I tend to agree. Will consider removing these in the next release, unless, of course, anyone posts an objection.
