Hi Donald, My pwsafe.cfg file also has the treefont entry in lowercase, so I don't see this as an issue. Hopefully the fresh install on your old machine and other things you're trying will provide some additional insights.

Hi Donald, Sorry to see that you're still experiencing these issues. The Options reset issue is really strange. Regarding the fonts, the font is stored in the pwsafe.cfg file. If they are getting reset that might indicate the font you configured are not being written to the pwsafe.cfg file that is read when you launch Password Safe (i.e. pwsafe.exe) While Password Safe is running, check the System tab or screen. Hi Donald, I'm not sure if Green vs. Registry install will make a difference. I would try pwsafe64-3.72.2pre5.exe as green install first as you did. If that doesn't work, then try it as a Registry install. You can uninstall the registry version if it doesn't work out.

Maybe next try the latest prerelease (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/PreReleases/3.72.2pre5/) on your W11 PC. If the latest release on your W11 PC doesn't work out, try it on another Windows PC (or Windows VM on your W11 PC).

Not sure what to tell you. I have never encountered a problem like this. You could try a few things. 1a. Upgrade to the latest prerelease 3.72.2pre4 (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/PreReleases/3.72.2pre4/) on your Alienware AWM15R5 and try your database with this latest version. 1b. If 1a still shows the issue then create a new database and have two instances of Password Safe v3.72.2pre4 open (one with the current safe and the other with the new safe) and drag a few groups...
