Interesting... Glad to hear that you've figured out the root cause of this issue. I don't currently have a multi-monitor setup to try this, but I suppose I could connect my tv as a 2nd display to my laptop's hdmi port to test this with two displays.

Hi I reported this issue before. See https://sourceforge.net/p/passwordsafe/bugs/1632/?limit=25#81d0 and it was fixed. However, in the case I reported, I had Show Notes in Edit unchecked on the Display screen in Options and this issue does not occur using v3.72.2 after clicking on Notes to display the Notes. I tested your scenario with Show Notes in Edit checked in Options and using v3.72.2 I can confirm the issue you reported. As a workaround you can uncheck Show Notes in Edit on the Display screen...

Hi Donald, My pwsafe.cfg file also has the treefont entry in lowercase, so I don't see this as an issue. Hopefully the fresh install on your old machine and other things you're trying will provide some additional insights.

Hi Donald, Sorry to see that you're still experiencing these issues. The Options reset issue is really strange. Regarding the fonts, the font is stored in the pwsafe.cfg file. If they are getting reset that might indicate the font you configured are not being written to the pwsafe.cfg file that is read when you launch Password Safe (i.e. pwsafe.exe) While Password Safe is running, check the System tab or screen. Hi Donald, I'm not sure if Green vs. Registry install will make a difference. I would try pwsafe64-3.72.2pre5.exe as green install first as you did. If that doesn't work, then try it as a Registry install. You can uninstall the registry version if it doesn't work out.

Maybe next try the latest prerelease (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/PreReleases/3.72.2pre5/) on your W11 PC. If the latest release on your W11 PC doesn't work out, try it on another Windows PC (or Windows VM on your W11 PC).
