I've been using PasswordSafe for years, nothing compares to it's simplicity for straight no frills password management. When the YubiKey integration was added I jumped on it and have not looked back.

However times are a changing and I really want access to my passwords on my iPhone but don't want to lose the fantastic MFA that the YubiKey offers.

I've temporarily removed the YubiKey so I can try out the PW Safe 2 iOS app using DropBox syncing to try it out. Seems pretty much what I am after. But obviously the MFA is not possible on the desktop version when syncing with that.

Are there any plans to offer an alter MFA such as Google/Microsoft authenticators that are widely adopted? It seems like a great addition to the product.

    This is a great idea.
I wish Google / Microsoft Authenticator support will be added.

Could not find any updates on this issue. It would be nice to get Google/Microsoft Auhenticator option to this great app.

+1 - I am also interested in being able to add Microsoft Authenticator functionality to accessing my password safe file

Recent versions of PasswordSafe have authentication code (OTP) support: You can enter the Authenticator secret key in the Additional tab of an entry, and then you can access the OTP (Authentication Code) for that entry from the Basic tab, by right-clicking on the entry, Edit menu, etc.

      Hi Rony,

I believe the original post is about not being able to open a YubiKey protected safe with the PW Safe 2 iOS app. This is no longer accurate. Yubikey protected safes are now supported by the latest iOS PW Safe app. I'm using a Yubikey 5C NFC and iPhone 13 with no issues. The latest PW Safe 2 iOS app also supports entries in the safe using OTP as you've indicated.
