No

Not sure if it is a feature or bug. I use the custom fields to add info like credit card number, expiry etc. In read-only mode, I cannot copy these fields using the mouse. It will be nice if I can clik a button to copy. But surely I should be able to use the mouse to copy and paste into my browser. Windows 10.
Thanks.

You should be able to click on the heading to copy the value.

However, I believe you've also surfaced a bug. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version.

      Hi Nick

I'm not sure you surfaced a new bug.

Here is more info for clarity.

Click on the line the value you want to copy and it should copy the value.

For example, in the example below, clicking on the CVV1 line and the value 1 should be in copied. Similarily, clicking on the CVV2 line and 2 should be copied.

One bug I already filed, in the example below if you click on CVV3 where the value is masked, what is copied is a bunch of asterisks. I believe this is will be fixed in next version.

      CVV1 1
      CVV2 2
      CVV3 **

It doesn't matter where I click, it cannot copy. See attached.
The whole area is greyed out. Tried on the Title, value, it cannot copy.

        Hi Nick

I did some more testing. I believe you have surfaced a new bug with this feature.

If I open the database in read only mode by checking the small box for "Open as read only" that is directly below the input area for the master password, once the safe opens I get the same behavior you described.

Try opening your safe with "Open as read only" not checked to see if the behavior changes.

Yes, it happen on "Open as read only". I stored lots of info on Notes field. I can use the mouse to highlight the card number and then copy and paste into my browser, I know it cannot accidentally alter the data. So it is a VERY handy feature.

So I was surprised, when I cannot do the same with custom fields when opened in "Read-only". Have a "copy" button for each custom field will be nice, just like a button to copy the password etc

I agree, the open readonly option is a great feature that I use quite often. Hopefully the bug you identified will be fixed in the next version.

I like your idea for a "copy" button for each custom field. Perhaps one way to do this is an option "Copy Custom Value" to appear on the Edit menu when an entry is selected that has Custom Values configured and the "Copy Custom Value" option would auto expand to a submenu of the Custom Name (probably shortened if the Name is too long ) to select, which would copy the corresponding value to the clipboard.

Having less click to do what you need to do is best. I suggest having the button on the left, that means it doesn't matter how long the field/title is. see attached.

I know an elegant application should allow long field names etc. But this is password manager, it is designed to store data for personal use. so "cc no" instead of "credit card number" and "exp" is what I would use instead of "credit card expiration date" like in the checkout page on Amazon. In fact when I store the data in Notes field, I don't bother with title/field names since I should know what the data meant.

Thanks for your help and keep up the good work.
