With Password Safe v3.47.01 64-bit on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit....
When I paste the password into a web form it seems to clear the clipboard immediately, rather than after the expected 30 seconds - I can't paste a second time. This is a nuisance when creating or changing a password (on a web-based service) because typically I copy once then paste the password twice (the 2nd time to confirm it)
Curiously, if I paste it into Notepad, it does NOT clear the clipboard (until after 30 seconds) - I can paste multiple times. The clipboard clear only seems to happen when pasting into a web browser. It doesn't need to be password field - for example I can replicate the problem pasting into https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sandbox&action=edit (obiously don't do this with a real password!)
I can replicate the problem on multiple machines (all Win 7 SP1 64-bit) and multiple browsers - Pale Moon 28.0.1 64-bit, Firefox Portable 61.0.2 64-bit, Internet Explorer 11 32-bit. However the problem does NOT happen with Google Chrome Portable 68.0.3440.105 32-bit - it allows me to paste multiple times.
Even more complicated - some times after I paste once into a browser (eg Firefox) then cannot paste again into that browser, I can still paste into Notepad! This happens intermittently, it's happened a couple of times, but I can't reproduce it reliably.
(For all of the above tests with a browser I was pasting into Wikipedia sandbox, and in all cases the multiple pastes were well within 30 seconds.)
This is a weird issue.
I can't reproduce this on my Windows 10 machines, but I was able to reproduce this on one machine I have that is running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit using both the Internet Explorer 11 and FireFox browsers and Password Safe v3.47.01 64-bit . Interestingly, autotype works fine into the browser, but nothing is pasted into login form fields when using copy and paste. I observed all the wierdness reported above. I even saw a case where copy password and then pasting into Notepad pasted some non ascii characters instead of what is in the password field.
I can reproduce the problem with Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, Build 17134 and Firefox Portable 61.0.2 64-bit. The password can only be pasted only once into https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sandbox&action=edit.
If I use Internet Explorer 11 (64-bit) in Windows 10 I cannot paste the password at all! (I can copy/paste other text - not copied from Password Safe - so I know the clipboard works in general with IE11.)
However I can paste the password multiple times into Notepad or Edge.
Interesting.
My windows 10 are Pro Version 1803 (OS build 17134.254).
See if upgrading windows makes a difference.
I have:
Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 1803
OS build: 17134.254
Most recent update was "2018-08 Cummulative Update ... KB4346783", installed 2018-08-31
Okay, so we are running the exact same Windows version. I'm at a lost as to what is causing this issue. It's very strange. Hopefully Rony will be able to look into it.
I am running into the exact same issue, can only paste the password once, and sometimes unable to paste into browser, but pasting into notepad works ?!
Windows 10 pro - pwsafe v3.47 64-bit
EDIT - Have just downloaded 3.47.02 - am now able to paste passwords twice, the the site where I was unable to paste at all is now working

Fixed in 3.47.2
I can also confirm that 3..47.2 fixes the problem.
Thanks
