Is this with v3.45 in windows. If so, I don't belive this is a bug.
I could not reproduce this in Windows 10 using v3.45. In my test the username of the Shortcut is same as the Shortcut base entry if a default Username is not set in Options>Misc tab .
However, if a default Username is set in Options>Misc tab, the shortcut entry will get the default Username.

On 2nd thoughts, maybe it is a bug. It's more logical that even if a default Username is set in Options>Misc tab, the Shortcut should get the base entry username.
