The panotools project is losing a talented, skilled,

Your rewrites are value added. Your innovations are
fascinating. Clean copyright provenance is in the
interest of everybody, I think.

A question however still haunts me: how would tlalli
be different from panotools in respect to how other
stakeholders feel, which seems to be what is driving
you away from panotools in the first place?

There is no condition attached to the lens. It is
yours and you can do what you want with it.
*everything* (unlike licensed software that comes with
strings of all sorts).

However be aware that there is no obligation on the
side of the mailing list maintainers to accept your
lens or your money.

As the initiator of the donation I am very unhappy
about your decision to get rid of it but there is not
much I can do other than reiterate that it was given
to you *unconditionally* and not linked to any
expectation about your contribution (or not) to the
panotools project.

The lens is yours, do what you want with it.
The code is yours, do what you want with it.
