    Hi,

I have configured a local bash connection using Method "Generic Command" with Full Command Line "bash"
When I copy a long string into this window using middle mouse button, I see character by character being printed to the screen. Very slow!!!
When I past the same line with shift-insert I do not see the same slowness.
It is very annoying not being able to use middle mouse button.
Using gnome terminal I do not see this problem.
I do not have the same problem when I connecting via ssh.

Is this a know fault and does anyone know how to get rid of this slowness?

    Br Mathias

    Hi,
I get the same behaviour when "Wait X millisecs for automated char sending" is NOT set to 0. That is, pac does what it is configured to do when it delays the paste.
When this is set to zero, the middle mouse button paste is quick.

But IMHO, the fact that the paste is not delayed when you use shift-insert, and wait is configured, could be considered a bug. (It is delayed when pasting with ctrl-shift-v.)
