PAC 4.5.5.7
I have export yml-Config on PC1 and wan't to import it to PC2 (both Linux).
At PC2, there ist /home/me/.config/pac/pac.yml.
But if I replace the file with the exported one, anyway it doesn't show my configured Servers in PAC.
1) Why there are no "Import" Function in PAC?
2) How can I got my old config imported to the new PAC?
It's possible to "Export SELECTED connection(s)" or "Export ALL connections" on PC1 and then "Import connection(s)" by right-clicking in the connections list on PC2.
This way you can copy connections from one computer to another, but not the preferences.
To also include the preferences you can "Export config" from the preferences window, and import the file on the other computer in the same way as you import connections, i.e. right click on "AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS" or any folder in the connections list and select "Import connections". PAC will recognize that it is a full config backup and will import the preferences along with replacing all connections.
It's not obvious, but it will do what you ask for.
As for the file replacement method that you tried, that is also possible. You need to replace the pac.yml and remove the pac.nfreeze and pac.dumper files before starting PAC.
