Hi Rodrigo Costa Thanks a lot for the idea of using Asbru... I've never heard about it. It works great
Hi All, I moved to asbru-cm.net, and after migrate my connections it worked like a charm. No -q option anymore in Spawned ssh from Expect. I just needed to adjust the Prompt expression, where connection is working as expected. Thanks a lot for the support.
Hi Nico, I installed Asbru and migrate connections. With some minor tuning in xfreerdp parameters it worked like a charm, thanks a lot for the tip! I recommend all to move to Asbru, since apparently PAC is not upgraded anymore.

Hi! No, the SSH command is not launched with "-q" option. If you want to see wha'ts going under the hood, enable the "Preferences"->"Terminal Options"->"Advanced"->"Expect DEBUG" checkbox, and see the whole connection chain in the terminal while trying to connect. I figure out the ssh uses -q quiet mode which is causing the issue I see on this customized prompt menu option. Anyone know if there is a way to disable -q in ssh call in PAC connection?
I have no clue how to better describe this issue. But on PAC preferences we can define the Terminal binary to be used, which natively is xterm. This make sense since normally this will be available on all systems. But some odd condition I cannot be sure why happens. I am on a Linux Mint 18 where natively mate-terminal is used. Even using xterm if a login over ssh to a "proxy" system , it presents some warning messages and then open a native menu to select which system to login. If I open a terminal...
When trying to create a RDP connection isung xfreerdp it fails with message: No 'xfreerdp' binary found. To use this option, please, install: 'freerdp-x11' Although rdesktop can be installed on my system it does not work as expected. On command line I can call xfreerdp and make it work properly, but I cannot use it on PAC. xfreerdp binary is installed properly and functional. Any recommendation to verify this issue?
Neither of these solutions got pac-vs working for me under Ubuntu 20.04.02 LTS, so I installed the forked version of Pac Manager, asbru-cm which worked without any further issues.

Hello David, Looks like there are some old threads about support of xfreerdp under PAC but I could not find any final information. Only xfreerdp can support newest Windows auth methods, being the only way to manage RDP connectons. Hi David, Sorry my later reply. That post login question acceptance happens more than once and then I cannot use that specific string just as post login in this case. On my system there is some "issue" prelogin message where if I put a blank, or empty, prompt it matches in the prelogin never entering even in initial login rule match. PAC things it is already in the prompt, aboring any furhter expect. Then I needed to create some trick using prompt as colon sign (:) and then in the post login Expect...
Hi! I'm sorry to say that you'll have to modify the "PAC Global Preferences", but in the end, it's not so hard nor messy ;) Simply change the "Press any key to continue" (at "PAC Preferences" -> "PAC Main Options" -> "Advanced") RegExp from: .(any key to continue|tecla para continuar). to: .(any key to continue|tecla para continuar|message of the day|default = vi). That is because PAC won't execute anything on the "Expect" configuration until it believes that the whole login procedure has been done....
Hello David and others, I'm having issues to setup a post login regex to just press enter a couple of times after login to accept login scripts in some system question like accept MOTD as well define default editor, by default vi. I already enable PAC Expect debug, which gave me directions for the no match root cause, but I could not be sure if this is a function not possible or some missing configuration in my PAC environment. The idea is to just search for : regexp, when matching in expect just...

Hi! That's a problem with the "command prompt" not matching anything. I'm able to open a term and connect with "cu -l /dev/ttyUSB0" and I connect fine. I see output from my console. So 3 days ago, I had no experience with Perl whatsoever. However, after some thorough reading, I was able to fix the above error (by including the ../lib/ex/ directory), but unfortunately the ./pac_from_mcm script was written several years back (when PAC was at version 2.2 or something like that). I have therefore changed the script a little bit so that it would work with the newest PAC release (4.5.5). Using the modified scrit, I was able to import around 140 connections and 20 groups from a CSV...
I will also attach the rubt script that generates a compatible CSV file from an mRemote exported confCons.xml I do not know if this is acceptable here as some may consider this an exploit (because of decrypting the passwords in mRemote), but I will attach the script anyway and will leave it up to the board moderators to decide on deleting it or not. Thank you again for this wonderful tool, and I hope my small contribution will be of use to someone in the future.
