Hello,
I'm trying to port Borland C++ 5.0 code to Visual Studio 2013 using OWLNext.
What did work:
- Installed 6.42
- Built lib / dll (Compatibility mode 6) using OWLMaker
- set up the IDE as discribed on here
- successful build of 'Hello World'-Example
Problems:
For the existing borland code I need OWL 5 compatibility. Trying to build OWL 5 comatible lib-files with OWLMaker I get build failure with following message from OWLMaker:
- objstrm.cpp(1042): error C2248: 'owl::ipstream::readStringLength': cannot access private member declared in class 'owl::ipstream'
How can I build OWL 5 compatible library? Shall I try building with any previous code versions?
Tnaks in advance for help!
