This is due to my interests falling elsewhere and the fact I haven't received any contributions from other developers. My goal for the summer had been to get a bug-fix update out the door with just minor changes. I had also hoped to rework the translation system so that it allowed easy translation from English to other languages as the OPT Max version's translation support is quite poor now. But at the rate the summer is disappearing, I'm not sure that even this small goal will be reached. I guess I'm saying that I no longer see myself as being a serious contributor to OPT. I'd be happy to continue to act as custodian, pushing out a release once or twice a year of bug fixes etc. However if anyone with more time and interest steps forward and demonstrates ability, then I would be happy to let them take over as project maintainer. Such a decision would probably be made by consensus vote on the mailing list. Let me know if you have any further questions. Guy |
