Yes, Peter, my Apple II Plus, with wordprocessor software Magic Window II and
a Star Gemini 10X dot matrix printer (it had 9 pin printer head for 9 x 9
matrix lowercase descenders) was the bomb -- and it used inexpensive (spool
type) Underwood typewriter ribbons from the 19th century (a little messy to
load). The Apple Mac Plus changed everything after that. OHIP is still
giving out fan-fold laser print outs to this day.
