The PAP is Opt-In service - and DONOT opt in as OSCAR has not been configured to accept this format! There are a number of issues related to this. The file being sent is ONLY a PDF and contains no discrete data - so not abnormal flag or next date ... SO if were were to create a format for these to be uploaded directly - the doctors would have to review each and every pap report and flag each one for followup with a tickler set to the correct date or enter into the prevention area. Remember the MOA's wont see the letters! We were hoping that some base data would come with the PAP - we could then store it in the measures and use that to automate the call back process / warnings for retesting etc. We are trying to find out what they were thinking of wen sending a PDF!
