I recently posted a thread about printers as I had trouble with HP P1005 Laserprinters. We run Ubuntu Linux OS and have printers in our exam rooms. I could not make them work despite some helpful suggestions from this forum. It's all in the drivers/support for linux. I returned them in exchange for Samsumg ML2150 Laserprinters for $89 at Staples. They work great with Ubuntu, slightly bigger size than the HP P1005. I kept one of the HP P1005 which runs fine under Microsoft environment at home. Incidentally, we also returned a HP all-in-one unit due to poor faxing/copying quality...
