If yes, what is the performance as compared to apps developed in > C/C++? I've written several small apps with PyQt, and they perform great, but do take longer to load up initially. I do have some strange problems with most of them not working with quick start, or being able to switch back and forth between them & other apps too. Once running though, performance is fine. Given that most of the work is done by Qt libs same as a C app, and the Python is just the glue holding it all together, this isn't too suprising. I've been using PyQT and SQLite DBs for apps. The rapid development time of writing in Python is also a plus (although I've yet to find a good support group specifically covering PyQt on Zaurus issues). -- .
