#1 Provide integrity protection
Provide integrity protection of the events. Not that
the system should prevent modification of events -
only detect tampering.
Integrity protection is most useful if the events are
protected as soon as they are emitted from the
application. However, there is also value to providing
protection as soon as they hit the local service on the
machine.
