    Jennie, I'm on vacation right now so I don't have the ability to examine the wireshark dump. However, here's a diagnostic query: is your subnet mask set to 255.255.255.128 /25 or greater? If so, then x.x.x.127 addresses are in fact broadcast addresses for their subsets. See for reference http://spazioweb.inwind.it/mydivx/netmask.htm. Please check.
