While we have been using the Dual Screen presentation option for years, yesterday I used the Preview Helper presentation and since then the normal Dual Screen option is notworking. How can we get it back please?

are you really asking about OpenSong, the desktop application?
In OpenSong you start the presentation by
clicking on the button Present in the set editor, or for a single song, on the song editor, in the main window. Clicking that button displays a popup menu with options for 'Single Screen', 'Dual Screen', and 'Preview dual Screen'. If 'Dual Screen' is greyed out, OpenSong did not detect your second display. Please make sure your presentation display is configured in Windows as being part of the extended desktop.

By pressing F5. In this case, there is a setting in Presentation Settings, tab Options, group box Monitors, setting 'Default Monitor Mode'. If this is set to blank, 'Dual Screen' is used, otherwise the mode set here is used.
Please also check that the monitors are set up correctly in the presentation setup. If both are set to the same display, or one is set to a non-existing display, you may get a 'Single Screen' presentation, even if you selected 'Dual Screen'.
