Thanks for the introduction of the import feature, I'm sure it will be great use. Unfortunately for those of us in the UK, this facility is of no benefit as we don't have access to the online functions that CCLI in the US provide. I had a long chat to CCLI UK about this today! Any chance of an import from the Song Select database?

Great to hear of another UK user. I'm afraid that nothing has come to the surface yet on the song import side of things. However I would recommend using the excellent site http://www.evans2chemweb.co.uk/temp/gareth/opensong/opensongshare.php as there are a lot of songs you can use there. I've put most of my songs there.

Not too sure on the copyright issues, although as long as everyone using the stuff has a licence I would have thought it would be ok ;-)
You can upload songs individually or as a pack to the site. You will also find this a helpful link http://newittan.hollosite.com/ it's for a veryhelpful word macro that I've found invaluable for transfering songs. Saved me hours, if not days!

I think the copyright issue needs to be investigated more thouroughly. Another similar project (Zionworx) hit alot of snags when they trierd to do a similar thing as the songshare thing here. A big Christian Music company were threatening a bill of -5 figures.
