You should post patches to gerrit instead so they get reviewed:

Anyway, I posted an unrelated but similar imx8x target file:

works for you?

You also have a board file, but please note that NXP refers to these 
chips as "imx8qxp", not "imx8xq". Marketing names for imx8 are 
confusing, for example both 8mq and 8qm exist and they're very different 
chips.
