Please keep in mind to store as much as possible in these areas:
1. Target (the MIPS EJTAG, internal bus and core operations).
2. Flash (if there are any "external" memory controllers  or memories
itself).
3. Debug (the debug stuff).

I know it might be not implemented this way at the moment but it will head
that direction. Please avoid global pointers and functions that operate on
data from outside parameters list. This will greatly increase the laster
integration in "the proper way" :-)
