I'm not using 7Zip, Winzip or other fancy stuff, just plain GNU ports 
for the command line. I guess, that most developers do the same, because 
it is trouble free.

While Windows users are less picky with installing executable binaries 
on their machines, the optimum would be to offer any self extracting 
executable and alternatively .tar.bz2 for the paranoid.

For the time being I'll install 7zip....grumble....
