The MBRS240 is a schottky diode - it is just a bit of protection in case a wrong/reversed target is connected. The question of dual-color/two single LEDs is a matter of taste: the dual LED I used (because I had lots of them in the parts bin) is green when the target has power and orange during JTAG data transfer - which is quite useful when running long flash operations without progress output. cu Michael |
