[opennms-discuss] Startup problems; where does DB get init'd?

Like others I'm trying OpenNMS for the first time with 0.8.1 and can't
get the SCM to start.  With all logs cleared when doing "opennms.sh
scm start" I only get the stuff in ctrlmgr.log that others have already
posted, but I noticed before that in one log file or another it complaine=

about there not being an "opennms" database in PostgreSQL.

During installation was there supposed to a database for opennms set up
in postgresql?  Or where is that supposed to happen?
