Well, make sure tomcat is running correctly. The easiest way to do that is hit http:<your_machine>:8080 You should see tomcat examples there. If not, check the logs under /var/tomcat4/logs. -----Original Message----- From: dis...@op... [mailto:dis...@op...]On Behalf Of Adam Kosmin Sent: Friday, April 13, 2001 2:09 PM To: di...@op... We're cooking now! :) Thanks very very much for the tip on how to use the passwd option to opennms.sh (I've been wondering about it for awhile now). I can now authenticate to the gui using the admin account. Still can't hit the web interface but perhaps there's something else that I'm missing. I'll keep looking and will reply when I've found it. Thanks everyone :) Adam Jeff Schneider wrote: > > Here's how to reset the admin password: > > Run ./opennms.sh passwd > type your password and confirmation > You'll get a MD5 of your password > copy that between the <password> and </password> tags under the admin userid > in the users.xml file under $BB_HOME/data/common/conf. > > You can use this to set up other passwords as well. > > -----Original Message----- > From: dis...@op...
