Evening Hamkas Firstly, thanks for the response. All the files required are redownload and have try to manually install on each of them. I did not change any default parameters as my LAN network is in the 192.168.112.xxx. OpenNMS is install on a machine which sits on 192.168.112.26 . I fell we should first address why some processes are forever in starting states : /sbin/service opennms status OpenNMS.Eventd : starting OpenNMS.Trapd : starting OpenNMS.Dhcpd : starting OpenNMS.Actiond : running OpenNMS.Capsd : starting OpenNMS.Notifd : running OpenNMS.Outaged : starting OpenNMS.Rtcd : starting OpenNMS.Pollerd : starting OpenNMS.Collectd : starting OpenNMS.Threshd : starting OpenNMS.Discovery : starting # is this normal ..... or something must be wrong ...???
