The troubleshooting FAQ would be a good start: http://www.opennms.org/index.php/FAQ-Troubleshooting Check out the answer for "OpenNMS 1.2.x won't start on a Linux system, I get 'Could not initialize IcmpSocket' errors". That should take care of your problem. But, before you fix it, I have two questions: 1) What version of OpenNMS are you running? 2) What does "/opt/OpenNMS/bin/runjava -r -- -version" return? - djg |
