Dear FOAMers,

The OpenFOAM regulars' table (Stammtisch) is an informal meeting of
OpenFOAM users and CFD enthusiasts. It is intended to provide a platform
for networking and exchange and will be organised this year in Göttingen
at NHR-Nord@Göttingen.

The meeting will take place on 1 and 2 April 2025. On the first day, an
informal dinner is planned to get to know each other (self-paying). The
second day is the main day of the Stammtisch and will feature many
exciting presentations, a guided tour of the GWDG HPC cluster and two
special sessions: ‘Bring your problem’ and ‘Find your employer’.
Participation is free of charge on both days, but registration is
required as seating is limited. You can also submit your contributions
via the registration page. These can be presentations, potential
employers and issues to be discussed. For further questions and to

The #exaFOAM project has prepared a set of #HPC benchmark cases, to be 
released #opensource via the #OpenFOAM HPC Commitee’s Git repository. 
Today we announce the first of our two Grand Challenge cases - The DLR 
Confined Jet High Pressure Combustor.

This#CFD case stems from theexperiment ofM. Severin(2019)at the @DLR 
Institute of #Combustion Technology. The burner is based on the 
Recirculation-Stabilized Jet Flame (RSJF) concept, better known as FLOX(R).

Setups for three meshes sized 3M, 24M and 489M cells are provided. 
Restartfields will be made available shortly.

please find enclosed a preliminary agenda for the upcoming OpenFOAM
Stammtisch United at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden - Rossendorf. The
event is planned for two days 24.5 (11:00 -- late) and 25.5 (9:00 -
13:30). As you can see, we received a number of interesting

as fire, fuel cells and battery simulations. However, there is still

This, however, provides me the opportunity to announce this year's
NUMAP-FOAM School @ FSB Zagreb

The School aims to provide tuition at expert level for a small and
selected group of students and researchers in academia and industry. The
idea of the NUMAP-FOAM School is to expand the physical modelling
knowledge, numerics and programming skills of attendees using OpenFOAM
in their research through direct supervision and one-to-one project
work. Lectures on chosen topics of mathematical and numerical modelling
pertinent to coupled problems in engineering and applied physics will be
delivered in addition. For further references, please contact the
organisers or one of more than 150 alumni of previous editions of the
School.
To ensure quality of work and supervision, the number of places is
strictly limited.

The provisional programme for the 12th OpenFOAM Workshop has now been

Following on from the highly successful 11^th OpenFOAM Workshop held
this year in Guimarães, Portugal, we are very pleased and proud to
announce that the 12^th OpenFOAM Workshop will take place 24^th -27^th
July 2017 at the University of Exeter, UK.

The OpenFOAM Workshop is a very popular annual event organised by
community members, attracting academic, industrial and all other users
of the OpenFOAM code (all versions) from around the world. It is open to
everyone regardless of origin and/or area of activity. The Workshop
provides a forum for users to present cutting edge research in OpenFOAM,
both development and application, and is a chance for users to meet and
discuss all aspects of the code and future developments.

The event also includes training courses in different levels of
OpenFOAM, serving beginners as well as experienced users and developers.

We look forward to welcoming you to Exeter in July 2017 and we will

Dear southbound FOAMers,

the next OpenFOAM user meeting (Stammtisch) in southern Germany will
take place in Darmstadt (Campus Lichtwiese):

August 17, 2015, 10:00 a.m.

This time there will be two key topics:

- Block-coupled matrix support of FOAM

- Automated meshing using cfMesh (hands-on training)

As you can see, we will have a hands-on training on cfMesh delivered by
Franjo Juretic (developer of cfMesh).

Moreover, technical and Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions will be set.

[Openfoam-extend-stammtisch] Invitation to OpenFOAM Workshop 2014

Dear OpenFOAM-ers,

We are in the final stages of preparation of the 9th OpenFOAM Workshop 
2014, to be held in Zagreb, Croatia 23-26 June 2014.  The Workshop will 
consist of over 100 oral presentations in 24 sessions over 2 days, 18 
free training seminars on all levels during the Training Day and 20 
Special Interest Group Meetings on the Community Day - hopefully 
sufficient to interest many of you.

In the past we had experienced various people from the community not
