Hello list members, I am interested in interfacing the Olimex active electrodes (EEG-AE series) to the enhanced capture capabilities of an embedded Linux platform. However, this embedded Linux platform is connected to shore power (110VAC), and does not contain the same amount of safety isolation features of openEEG. What would be some pointers for isolation and safety of Olimex active electrodes for interfacing with 110VAC-connected embedded Linux systems that utilize input PWM and enhanced capture, especially if the embedded Linux platform is not capable of battery operation? For the Olimex EEG-SMT, what type of safety precautions are included with that platform to insure that a power surge couldn't jump across the USB interface to the scalp electrodes? Thanks in advance |
