I tested earlier in Acad 2026 by highlighting the entire contents of the text box in my second message of this thread, started Acad 2026, clicked on the command line, used Ctrl-V to paste, and pressed enter. If you want to open it in OpenDCL Studio, you should be able to download the files posted at https://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=60346.0.

I'd like to help, but it's difficult to find time. I think there is some problem with your system setup or environment, or the way you're testing, so the challenge here is more about diagnosing and fixing that problem. Owen, Could we come to a position where I re-write the text to this new method and you just import the text to convert to the ODCL dialogs. I'm talking about around 15 program. Is this something you would do? I was at the beginning of all this wonderful coding an I'd just like a little of your time helping me out. BTW I tested it with Standard AutoCAD with the same outcome. You have (dcl-project-import) without any arguments. Try moving that closing parenthesis to the end of this entire block, so that the project data list becomes the argument to dcl-project-import. You'll also need to remove that extraneous ".odcl.lsp" from the end of the project data list.

ok i figured out all you have to do for the encoded ODCL is open it in the studio. Now we need a way to decompile the Autolisp txt. Owen, is this something you can accomplish? Sorry to hear about your accident. I don't have a good excuse. I'm afraid I don't have time to provide detailed instructions, but the basic steps to edit that embedded .odcl should be: 1. Using a text editor, extract the raw project data from the original .lsp to a new text file with .odcl.lsp extension. The new file should contain only the raw project data, i.e. '("xxxx"). 2. Open that .odcl.lsp file in OpenDCL Studio and make any desired changes, then save it. 3. Open the .opendcl.lsp file in a...

Thanks Owen. I'm sorry about being a pain. I got in a bad accident late last year and had some head trauma. I have some pretty major memory lose and getting pretty frustrating. I started upgrading my ODCL forms but for the life of me I can't move the form from the ODCL to AutoCAD. I've read everything I can find on the subject but to no avail. Thankyou Owen for looking into this. I've used this before, a lot ,but have forgotten a lot after doing something completely different for 2 years. All I have is the strings of text. When I drag them into the OpenDCL editor it just shows the strings. No error messages just a copy of the text. Do I need to wrap the strings in a defun? Load? Thanks for any help Jim

Well, I finally solved it by forcing the data type the function requests (long integer) with the atoi and rtos functions. But that function needs to be modified to accept floating-point arguments. Well, in the end, it's only for graphical purposes, so it doesn't affect the truncation of values... Thanks for your attention.

Hi, i take the project again and the error still, Autocad 2022 and OpenDcl 9.3.0.1. I thought I had exceeded the drawing limits of the control, but the error remained after enlarging the window.
