Hi CCV, Thanks for the comments. Yes, naming convention does change from place to place. I'll stick with the way I designate the intersections I think ... it's just personal semantics since no general designation seems to exist. The important thing is that the name used for the group doesn't effect the rules or solutions regarding them. So, 'block 3 mid' will be my mental designation for 'The 3 cells in the intersection of block 3 and row 5' If I was using full candidate marking it probably wouldn't...
Hi Guys, I'm referring to the group of 3 cells that are common between a Line and a Block. ( in any Intersection ) The Candidates will be irrelevant in this case. In the attached, each of the purple colored groups are an example of the groups I'm referring to. I'd currently think of these as block1 btm, block2 centre, block 3mid groups. It's not important in the overall scheme of things, but I do like to consolidate my thinking and naming concepts and particular things helps me do that. I predominantly...

Hi All, Has anyone coined a name for the Intersection(s) between a Line and a Block. In each block there are 3 horizontal ( top, mid, btm) and 3 vertical (left, center, right) intersections I currently think of them as Block 2 mid or block 7 right, etc. ... but would be nice to know if they have been previously named. Regards, Stay Well Kerry
