I've been a long time user of Open Camera, and a big fan. This app has been great serving me some really great looking photos and videos. As my skills are increasing for videos, I am learning that I need more from a video camera app. Currently, I have not found anything, on Android, that fully surpasses Open Camera with regards to all the features and controls.
With that in mind, while searching for something that has more robust features, I have found a really great app for iOS, that has so much control, and many great features that would help mobile videographers. Filmic Pro for iOS is the app I have fallen more and more in love with. They do have an Android version, but their features are lackluster when compared to it's counterpart. Open Camera, IMO, still has it beaten by a mile.
I've read through the forums and noticed that you do plan on adding some great features that are found on Filmic Pro, such as trying to implement log/flat profiles, histogram, and various FPS settings for slow motion. I am very eager for those features, since, as much as possible, I do not want to switch to iOS. But more and more I look into a good video camera app, it's looking more and more appealing.
I would like to +1 all those requested features, and like to add to that as well. If they are already in the works, great! If not, I hope you can add these in a future update. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Oh boy...
I +1 it all as I would make use of it as well but you just asked to make a professional camera out of Android pitu-pitu ;)
