Hi Mark. Do you by any chance have a list of fully compatible phones? By that I mean open to 3rd party apps, e.g. switching lenses of the back camera, true 24 fps for 1080p and 4k, flat/log recording. Or if anyone is sure you have an open phone please specify your model. I think it would be smashing to have it. (just wanted to add I'm particularly interested in Redmi K20 Pro ;) )
Mark, do you know any phone model which is not blocked by the producer?
Mark, I don't have flat profile available on my Galaxy A5 (2017), stock Android 8.0, no root, camera2 API is on, app version 1.45.2. Does it mean my phone is too old for it?
What do you mean minimum stress on the sensor? You can get best results when pushing your hardware to the limit actually. If you intend to put little stress just use auto mode.
Thanks Mark. One more question, regarding flat profile. I read somewhere that version 1.44.1 was with flat profile. Has this feature been removed from 1.45.2? I'm just trying to establish if it's still there but the device I'm testing Open Camera on doesn't support this feature maybe (if not, where exactly should it be visible in settings?). For example I tried to set fps to 24 but when I test my sample clip with MediaInfo app for Android, it shows me variable fps, avg 26.440, min 4.949, max 42.918...

Thanks for the info, mate! Btw, how did you split regions for rollout stages? :)
Hi. This is a general wondering... I know that there are versions 1.45 and 1.45.1 already available but I can't see them here in Files secion, neither on Google Play, nor on F-Droid, nor on Mark's webpage. All these places still show me v1.44.1. So where do you guys find it? Is there any other place? I'm also quite interested in changelog ;)
