Opencamera is amazing.
Adding features like this is an unnecessary burden.
Just use f-droid to install a qr code scanner.

+1 for QR scan capability. Having to use a different Camera app to scan a QR code is slow and confusing, because the interfaces differ.

needlessly useless. the phone camera has this on samsung and Google phones, there are other programs to do this, and most of all, QR codes are potentially insecure to auto-parse (plaster your spam URL QR on every telephone pole and watch all the accidental clicks roll in, and that's being nice) and nothing on a QR can't be typed instead.

And the default camera already has QR code scanner.
If you do not want to share the information about the codes your are scanning to Google then use e.g. this: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.secuso.privacyFriendlyCodeScanner/
