Just to confirm, to use 3gpp mode, the following config keys need to be set:

OpenBTS : SMS.MIMEType : application/vnd.3gpp
OpenBTS : SIP.SMSC : smsc

Update your local copy’s master branch and it should be good to go. Let me know if this resolves things.
