OK, versions look fine so far. The correct FPGA image can be downloaded and installed automatically with "sudo uhd_images_downloader". When trying to register a phone, put it on a PC speaker or cheap clock radio or another device that allows you listening to the typical GSM pulses. Listen if the typical machine gun sound can be heard, or if there are only some short clicks. Or maybe you have another possibility to check the uplink frequency for activity. Best is a scanner, tuned to the uplink frequency in AM mode, squelch open. Also check on the OpenBTS command interface for the noise value. Ralph. Subject: RE: [Openbts-discuss] Can't connect to the network Hello Ralph, thanks for your reply. - I'm Using Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS - My UHD version is "UHD_003.009.003". - How can I check if the FPGA fits with the UHS Version? - I'm using Open Registration with .* expression. Though, I think I should see my device in the tmsis table even without Open Registration, I'm right? Alandre Em 03.05.2016 11:13, Ralph A. Schmid, dk5ras escreveu: What Linux are you using? So far I can see my network on my IPhone but I'm not able to connect to it. Not even my device is shown in the tmsis table. I've tried several configurations regarding to rxgain, power, frequencies, but I had no success so far. Does anyone have any idea on what I'm doing wrong? thanks in advance, Alandre |
