Hello Filippo: OpenBTS does not support LTE. OpenBTS supports GSM and GPRS. OpenBTS-UMTS supports WCDMA (3GPP Release 99). For SDR-based LTE solutions, look at OpenLTE, srsLTE, and Eurecom OpenAirInterface (OAI). I think there is some confusion in your question. The host computer will connect to the radio, such as a USRP N200, over 1 Gb Ethernet. The data rate over Ethernet will depend on the sample rate used in the radio. For GSM, this will be usually be low, but for WCDMA and LTE, it will be significantly higher. --Neel On 3 December 2015 at 10:53, Filippo Bianco <fil...@gm...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I was just wondering if OpenBTS can generate a signal with a speed of > 100 Mbps (4G) or even 300 Mbps (4G+, Advanced LTE). > I've searched on the internet, but I found no informations. > > Another question: Since I read it is necessary to connect the computer > running OpenBTS to modem/router with an ethernet cable, could I transmit > a 1 Gbps signal with OpenBTS (obviously if my home connection supports > that speed)? > > Thanks in advance! > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Go from Idea to Many App Stores Faster with Intel(R) XDK > Give your users amazing mobile app experiences with Intel(R) XDK. > Use one codebase in this all-in-one HTML5 development environment. > Design, debug & build mobile apps & 2D/3D high-impact games for multiple > OSs. > http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=254741911&iu=/4140 > _______________________________________________ > Openbts-discuss mailing list > Ope...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openbts-discuss > |
