Thanks Tom. We’re all trying to converge as rapidly as possible so would it make sense for the community to focus its efforts around a reference platform in order to better help you? In other words, is there a reference processor/USB3.0 chipset (or product) that Ettus recommends its customers use with the B200 mini, regardless of software, to guarantee compatibility? Is there more than 1 reference platform? Similarly, is there a reference processor/USB3.0 chipset that the community should be using to help you diagnose possible 3G issues? We’re picking up a lot of IoT interest and so having some embedded options would be great. Thanks again for the support. In theory it should and we expect, in time, it will. But so far our testing has not yet converged to a point that we can stand behind when it comes to support. We would appreciate any input from the community in any area—software or hardware—that gets us to that point. OpenBTS supports the B200mini without changes for 2G. I am attempting to confirm reported issues with the B200mini on 3G OpenBTS-UMTS. -TT |
