[Openbts-discuss] OpenBTS-UMTS Phones stuck in Idle Mode

My phones pass data until they spontaneously fall into stIdleMode according to the "sgsn list" and they never recover. I must restart the program get data to move again. On the phone, the up arrow next to the 3G indicator toggles but the down arrow does not. 
How do I remedy this either by preventing the phone from entering idle mode or allowing it to come out of idle mode?
