Hi Deepika, the approach works well, and should be suitable for other versions. Please note: - it was implemented for OpenBTS 2.8 (that was pretty unstable), and OpenBTS internal architecture essentially changed - it was not so easy to follow it, taking into account that the official updates were a bit unpredictable and git-ed in huge portions. It took me unreasonable efforts to follow.. - as far as I remember, the key idea of handover implementation from Range (by the end of 2013) was "freezing call state at the serving host as is and moving it (over some protocol) to the new one, in a sort of a container". Sorry for such an official re-telling - there were some issues with processing re-Invite in Asterisk. I would recommend to look at Freeswitch Regards, *Dmitri Soloviev*, PhD Chief Technology Officer www.flexatel.com ds...@fl...
